Chorale at the Station Arts Centre

Here are a few pictures and videos from a performance by Chorale at the Station Arts Centre in Rosthern.  The choir sang at the Station for the Noon Hour Christmas Concert Series on December 18, 2009.  The final Christmas Concert that evening featured all three RJC choirs (Chorale, Women's Choir, and Concert Choir.)

You can see more RJC videos at our YouTube Channel (www.youtube.com/rosthernjrcollege)

The new theatre stage and hall at the Station Arts Centre in Rosthern is wonderfully suited for choirs the size of Chorale. What a beautiful venue!

Baily Neufeldt is one of the sopranos.

Lori Pauls performed a solo, backed up by the choir.

John Baker, Luke Driedger-Enns, and Ryan Epp show good concentration during the performance.

Laura Civica and Carly Dick watch closely for cues from the director.

The sopranos open up during a song.

Clay Buhler and Wade Goerzen are in the tenor section.

Chorale is already singing a bulk of their songs for memory!

Eyes on the director!

Beauty and the Beast opens on Friday!

The Musical Theatre Class performances of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" opens on Friday evening, December 4.  Tonight (Thursday the 3rd) is a closed dress rehearsal, performed in front of the students' peers.

The following pictures are from earlier rehearsals.  As you can see, not all costumes are finished in these pics.  Rest assured, all costumes and scenes are ready!  Call soon as tickets are almost all gone!

Long rehearsals can sometimes make you go a little crazy, as demonstrated by Katie Baschak, who plays Belle.

Hugo Malan IS the beast.

Gaston (played by Jordan Wiens) puts the moves on Belle.

Gaston and LeFou (played by Laura Civica) plot with Msr. D'Arque (Katie McLellan) to put Maurice away in the "Maison des Lunes".

Cogsworth (Heidi Epp) Lumiere (Erin Boldt) and Mrs. Potts (Lori Pauls) watch Belle nurse The Beast back to health.
