Guys and Pies

A Buncha Guys sang at the annual Guys and Pies Fundraiser on Sunday night at RJC. The yearly event raises money for RJC Auxiliary projects in support of the school. 23 of the 24 young men in the group are alumni of RJC. A Buncha Guys is led by Russ Regier, also an RJC Alumnus.

They were joined for a couple numbers by the RJC ManChoir, made up of students and staff under the direction of Richard Janzen.

An impressive collection of cakes were auctioned off, the highest bid for a cake going for well over $1100! Thank you to Russ, the Guys, and the Auxiliary for your support of the school over the years!

QUICK REVIEW
CRAZY FOR YOU is the story of Bobby Child, a well-to-do 1930's playboy, who's dream in life is to dance. And despite the serious efforts of his mother and soon-to-be-ex-fiancee, Bobby achieves his dream! Memorable Gershwin tunes include I Can't Be Bothered Now, Bidin' My Time, I Got Rhythm, Naughty Baby, They Can't Take That Away from Me, But Not for Me, Nice Work if You Can Get It, Embraceable You and Someone to Watch Over Me. It's a high energy comedy which includes mistaken identity, plot twists, fabulous dance numbers and classic Gershwin music.
