50 students started tap dance classes in preparation for next week's spring musical auditions. Classes run four days this week.
The students were divided into two groups of 25 each, to make the instruction more efficient. Each group had a one hour class today. The classes are led by Saskatoon dance instructor Jacqueline Romanoff. She began with basic steps and quickly brought the students to a choreographed dance routine at the end of their 1 hour session. On Tuesday and Thursday, Jacqueline will instruct the entire group for 90 minutes, and divide them into two groups again on Wednesday.
Auditions begin next week (April 28.)
