Chorale and Women's Choir held their annual Christmas Concert at the beautiful and historic Knox United Church in downtown Saskatoon. In addition to the two choirs, some students presented solos and duets for the Christmas season.
It was a lovely concert. The choirs sang beautifully to an appreciated audience on a very mild December evening!
Thank you to Richard Janzen (director), Jill Wiens (assistant director), and Audrey Falk Janzen (piano) for preparing the choirs so well!

At the beginning of May the RJC Choirs performed for the last time this year at the Spring Concert. Performances by Chorale, ManChoir, Concert Choir, and the Guatemala ALSO Group highlighted the concert.
The event also showcased the NEW GRAND PIANO that was purchased for RJC. It is the first tangible item to come out of the Do More. Be More initiative. It is a beautiful instrument and will be a valuable part of the music program at Rosthern Junior College for many years to come!
Thank you to Richard Janzen (director) and Audrey Falk Janzen (piano) for the bringing the choirs as far as you did this year!

Chorale recently returned from their spring tour to Alberta where they sang for appreciative audiences in Didsbury, Calgary, Lethbridge, and Herschel, SK. Tour is always a time where the choir becomes a much tighter group and all the hard work learning repertoire pays off. By the end of tour the choir didn't even need to bring their folders off the bus. Close to 20 songs were sung for memory!
Only one performance left for Chorale before they end the year. Join RJC at the Spring Concert on May 8 at 7pm in the RJC gym to hear Chorale, Concert Choir, ManChoir, and enjoy the NEW piano that was just recently delivered to the school!
