Chorale Tour 2009!!

Hi all
The tour thus far has been alot of fun. Our first day was spent mainly driving to Lethbridge. The congregation gave us an awesome meal before we sang for them. We then met our first billets (some had hotubs!!!!!). Ask Dan about his cellar-dwelling first night.

The second day started with an early morning and the short drive to Calgary. We had the priviledge of singing and performing with the Menno Simons children's choir. The children's choir was uber cute and sounded so good. We taught the kids two harder songs which they mastered easily. The kids also taught us a simple song which we struggled with.

Chorale and Menno Simons Christian School sings "Ipharadisi" at the concert.

Together, the choirs sing "Hope for Resolution"

Supper in Calgary was a cultural experience at "Peter's Drive In" (monster milkshakes and friesfriesfries onion rings). The evening concert was at Menno Simons Christian School together with the MSCS choir. The gym was full with supporters of both schools.

This picture is from our rehearsal together before the concert.

Throughout the tour we have had the fun of playing the Mennonite game and hearing funny stories from former RJC students. he he he :) The truth behind some past legendary hijinks has come to light.

Day three is starting a slower pace with a sleep in day. At noon we will be leaving for Tofield.

Ian, Dan and the rest
