Opening Program - Concert Choir Season Debut!

The Opening Program was held this past weekend. We celebrated the beginning of a new school year and asked for God's presence & guidance and for support from our friends.  We heard stories from some students about the process of deciding to attend RJC and thoughts from parents and the RJC Board regarding the value and future of our school.

Concert Choir sang three songs in their debut performance for this year - and they did very well considering they only had a week and a half to get ready!

It was all in all a great afternoon and a great start to the year!

SRC Co-Presidents Jaye Warkentin and Eric Epp welcomed everyone to the Opening Program.

Academic Awards were presented to last year graduates Ryan Epp (standing left) and Sara Bartel.

RJC Board member (and RJC Alumna) Nicole Tiessen shared thoughts about the future of the school.

Concert Choir sang three songs: "Down in the river", "O Lord, you're beautiful", and "O have you not heard of that beautiful stream?"

First year Grade 10 student Gabby Martin was one of three students who shared their enthusiasm for attending RJC.

Concert Choir is directed by Richard Janzen. Audrey Falk Janzen is at the piano.

Tammy and Cam Forrester shared their thoughts as parents who decided to send their daughter Kenna to RJC.
